Idea Provider
As part of the GIBBS reality-based education model, student groups are matched with innovators within the field of bioscience to pursue the commercialization of innovations submitted to the program. In order to ensure the quality and appropriateness of the submitted ideas, as well as to safeguard the interests of idea providers, GIBBS has developed a detailed project recruitment process building on the experiences of our sister program Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship but incorporating a cutting edge understanding of the bioscience fields.

GIBBS actively seeks out and contacts researchers who wish to see their innovation developed commercially, as well as welcoming project submissions from external parties, with the following criteria as underlying guidelines:

To be considered for GIBBS development, projects must be:

  • Bioscience based – originating in the fields of biotechnology, medicine, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Technology based – incorporating a fundamental technological innovation around which the collaboration project will be built
  • In need of an entrepreneurial team – GIBBS will only pursue those projects that have a clear need and use for a dedicated, entrepreneurial team.

If you are currently working on a project or an idea and fell that this setting is suitable for that project, please contact Morgan Skarin via email morgan.skarin@entrepreneur.chalmers.se or phone +46 (0)70 147 04 07.
