Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship has a tradition of being an environment where talented individuals come together to actively engage in forming a better future. Our students are committed to identify new innovations, to create new and improve existing companies, and to develop new and better products and services.
In order to create this environment we have designed an admissions process where we do not only evaluate formal academic merits, but also seek potential in the individual. Additionally, we aim to understand how individuals may complement each other in order to have a good mix of students for the class as a whole. Since we focus on team-based entrepreneurship we seek a student body consisting of different educational backgrounds, different personalities, and different life experiences. Our experience and track record clearly shows that students who are willing to learn collaboratively and work hard together can accomplish great things.
We hope you will take the time and effort to produce an application demonstrating your capabilities and thus convincing us to admit you to the programme. If you succeed and are offered a spot in the end, we guarantee you two great years of learning, and an experience of a life-time.
We wish you the best of luck with your application!

Choice of Tracks:
The Programme contains four different profile tracks, two within each of the main categories Venture Creation and Entrepreneurial Management. In step 2 you will be asked to indicate which of the main categories of profile tracks you prefer. Please follow the link to each track if you want more information about the specific track.
In order for you to complete your Step 2 application you need to provide us with additional information;
1. Personal Statements (mandatory)
2. Résumé/CV (mandatory)
3. A video presentation of yourself (optional)
All information asked for should be submitted in English.
1. Purpose Statement – Please describe your motivation for applying for this education as well as motivating why you are a good candidate for the programme (what specific contribution will you bring to the programme, your peers, and the environment). Include discussion of how you see yourself and significant events or experiences, in particular team experiences, which have shaped your perspective, as relevant to the education.
2. Vision Statement – Please present your future vision: how you intend to use the knowledge gained from the education and how you can make an impact (to others, to society). Include discussion of key individuals who inspire you, how you aim to emulate them, and what kind of person you want to be.
Each statement has a minimum (500) and maximum (1000) words.
List your previous working experiences, extracurricular activities and commissions of trust. Include start and end period for each post.
“Why are you a suitable candidate for this programme and the tracks of your interest? “
You should record a short video presentation of yourself, not exceeding one minute. The video doesn’t have to be complicated or advanced; you can e.g. use your mobile phone to record it. The purpose of the video is to help us form an even better picture of who you are by adding a dimension to the personal statements.
When you upload your video to your Youtube channel, please make sure to choose the privacy setting “unlisted” so we can access your pitch when receiving a link from you.
Step 3: Closing the deal (extended application process, interview)
Based on the written personal statements and the video presentation a selected number of candidates will proceed to an interview with members of the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship’s admissions committee. After the interviews the admissions committee will make their final decision which applicants they would like to recommend for admission to the programme.
The interviews will take place at Chalmers or via Skype if you are prevented to be in Gothenburg at the stated dates below
